Is it easier to make money online or is it easier to lose weight? Many people struggle with both areas every day and while they seem to be unrelated I for one see a big connection between the two.

I can say that I have struggled with both issues in the past and in the present and very likely will struggle in the future as well. Neither weight loss nor making money online comes easy for most of us. In both cases we need to do our research, put together a plan, focus on the end result and work hard towards making our goals a reality.

I have had both failure and success when trying to make money online and I have also had both failure and success when trying to lose weight. So what is it that makes success easier in both weight loss and online money making? I believe the keys are discipline, focus and determination.

Whether you are trying to make money online or lose weight you need to have a high degree of discipline. In the case of weight loss you need discipline to make sure you eat the right things (and avoid the wrong things), get to the gym regularly and continually motivate yourself. Making money online requires discipline in learning what works, continually pushing yourself and going forward even in the face of failure.

Both weight loss and online money making will require focus. You will need to focus yourself on the end result and keep doing those things that move you closer to your desired outcome. Success doesn’t come overnight for either endeavor, but requires constant focus and work to achieve your goals.

Determination is important because it will keep you strong during those inevitable set backs in your weight loss program or money making projects. It also ties in with your focus and discipline by keeping you on the right track. Even if you have a temporary failure your determination is what will keep you from doubting yourself and quitting. Having proper determination is key to the success of any long term goal.

You can achieve weight loss with many of the programs out there from Atkins to Medifast to the Zone Diet. And you can make money online in hundreds of ways from paid surveys to blogging to freelancing. The things that will determine your success or failure are within you – discipline, focus and determination. Don’t give up, keep moving forward and believe that what you are doing is right.
