What in the world is a focus group?

A focus group is a small group of people brought together to get a more detailed set of opinions and responses about a product or service. Generally it is from 4-10 people. Focus groups are usually held onsite, take longer (several hours) and pay more than online surveys. It is possible to make $300 for a 2 hour focus group. Occasionally you may be invited to online focus groups as well.

How much time will this take?

One of the great things about making money by taking free surveys is you are not held to a schedule. Individual free surveys will take anywhere from 5-30 minutes for which you will be paid $5-75. Focus groups are longer and generally last anywhere from 1-3 hours. Of course focus groups pay much more as well. You can spend as much time as you like taking free surveys.
